Had my '02 996 C4 for about 3months now, all feels good, but got a few questions that others my have answers to!.

1.. If I've been on a good run, the next day when I pull away, it feels and sounds as though the pads have stuck to the discs... I do at least a mile cool down after...
2.. I am starting to notice if I go through the revs farily slowly I feel a distinct pull around 3k, obv cam change, but is this normal?
3.. I had the chance to do some high speed runs recently and noticed around 160mph the steering had a slight shake, balance out sort of shake.. every other speed up to 150 odd was fine... I wasn't sure if a slight buckle/balance issue would cause this..

Any insight helpful

Cheers...

I had an 02 C2 from new for over a year,,,,fair observations.

yes the pads can stick to the discs when they cool down, can be even worse if you wash the wheels and the discs get wet,,,not a big deal...different pads can sort this. A case of T.A.D.T.S. (they all do that sir)

the car has varioram plus...this comes in around 3k rpm, increase in torque.

Difficult on the wheel wobble,,,could well be slight balancing issue,,,I don't know if wheels are balanced up to such speeds on the machines used...having them checked to see if any are out or weights have fallen off may bring something to light, this is the first and cheapest route to take or possibly a dodgy tyre,,blister..etc....

If not that it could possibly be alignment, but less likely to show probs at such a speed that were not immediately evident when slower.
