Very clever marketing by Cadburys for this!

How much increased revenue do you think they and Co-op (where the only white egg worth £2k will be sold) will generate with people buying more than normal to try and find a white egg?

I won't buy a Creme Egg until 1) They return to the old recipe 2) They put 6 eggs in a half dozen box 3) They stop advertising as soon as Christmas is over. So I don't care tongue out

If it's like Macdonalds Monopoly, location of the winning eggs will be tightly controlled. They'll know exactly which shop and approximately what hour the egg will be purchased.

Put it this way, Waitrose in Chelsea won't be selling one of them wink

But what if you bought the egg (from your white chocolate egg making factory wink ), took it with you on a journey somewhere, completely forgetting you'd bought it until some days later, then rediscover it and ring in to claim your prize? "Well which store did you purchase it from, sir?". You know, I can't seem to remember... ?? I think it was up north somewhere, but I travel a lot and could have literally been anywhere. Obviously for such a cheap purchase I didn't bother asking for a receipt either. Now are you ready to take my bank account details for you to transfer my £1000 ? :biglaugh

Interesting. Might have to take a trip to an ASDA in Basildon then. hehe Only problem is I'd like the money, but I'd also want to eat the egg. scratchchin

2015 they stopped making the shell from dairy milk chocolate and it’s never been the same since.

I wonder, as an aside, how in this day and age you can sell a “secret” egg willy wonka style and not risk being sued or falling foul of some law. If the packaging is for a creme egg then the ingredients won’t match what is actually in the product if it happens to be a white one. Cue some dhead dying from some bizarre allergy or someone complaining that it’s illegal to sell incorrectly labelled food. Maybe that’s the key.... it isn’t incorrectly labelled and the way to find one is to look for the lack of cocoa solids on the label scratchchin

Hopefully this will hit sales even harder than the boycott because of the recipe change. Kraft are ruining Cadburys frown

If you find an egg then you must keep the voucher to claim your prize. See the full terms and conditions on the Cadbury's website.
The Voucher inside the wrapper tells you what the prize is, the white egg is irrelevant to the claim.

That’s hardly their fault though. The things are wrapped the same way they always have and there have always been a number in a box with the wrappers chipping off

The wrappers are so thin though that surely you'd be able to tell if there was a voucher underneath without unwrapping it? It would have to be a pretty small voucher too.
