Logitech G920 & XboxOne - settings.
Discussion
With the cheap G920 deal at Currys over xmas, I’ve bought the wheel/pedals/gearlever set & have the playseat arriving today. Once I’ve put it all together, it’ll be linked up to the xbox, and principally used for Forza/Project Cars.
Can anyone recommmend some half-way decent settings in terms of feedback/deadzones, etc - please?
I know they’ve been discussed in the past, just can’t find them right now...

I have received my G920 2 days ago. Absolutely brilliant.
The brake pedal is insanely hard, so you probably will have to limit the outer deadzone for the brake pedal in order to archive 100% braking force.
Mine currently is limited at 55% since I do not like having to press into the pedal with "all I have".
For Project Cars 2 I am currently running with the settings below
Flavour: Immersive
Gain: 50
Volume: 25
Tone: 50
Fx: 75
Menu spring strength 0.00
In Forza 7 as follows
Steering Axis Deadzone Inside : 0
Steering Axis Deadzone Outside : 100
Acceleration Axis Deadzone Inside : 0
Acceleration Axis Deadzone Outside: 100
Deceleration Axis Deadzone Inside : 0
Deceleration Axis Deadzone Outside: 40-50 (If you heal toe I put it lower so I don't have to push the break as hard)
Clutch Axis Deadzone Inside : 20
Clutch Axis Deadzone Outside : 50
Hand Break Axis Deadzone Inside : 10
Hand Break Axis Deadzone Outside : 100
Vibration Scale : 100
Force Feedback Scale : 16
Wheel Rotation Angle : 900
Steering Linearity : 50
Forced Feedback Understeer : 32
Force Feedback Minimum Force. : 84
Wheel Damper Scale : 2
Centre Spring Scale : 0

Much obliged!
Don’t have pcars2, but am finding pcars 1 ok (I tried it originally with controller & couldn’t do a lap in the karts, can now at least do that).
I am finding Forza incredibly difficult though... Even though with a pad I’m no world beater, I can race at ‘advanced’ level & win more often than not, but using the wheel, I just can’t get anywhere, even setting AI difficulty to ‘moron’, I’m still way off the pace!
I just cannot correct a slide quickly enough, or if I do catch it, I then invariably fishtail back the other way & spin. I’ve tried setting the range of the wheel down from 900’ to 720, 540, even 360, and while that’s better, I’m still no good.
Is this just me, or is everyone like this initially? (cockpit view).
If I was truly this bad on the road in rl, I’d be dead... I guess a lot of it is the complete lack of ‘seat of pants’ feeling, but also I think the wheel is too small?
Any ideas? Or do I just need more practice?

I recently got a G920 for specifically playing forza, of which I currently have Forza 6 and Horizon 3. I found it unplayable with the G920 and I couldn't find anywhere (specifically 6) to fine tune the wheel settings. I've heard that I can run a program on my PC to change the settings but I don't really want to invest the time fiddling around, plugging it back into my xbox, repeat. Maybe I have the wrong end of the stick?
I had got the original Project Cars free with Games with Gold ages ago and immediately the wheel was miles better than Forza, and it allows me to change the wheel config in game. I still find the wheel a bit snappy and it's hard to correct oversteer without losing it. I've just received Assetto Corsa this week which I'll also be trying.
I also agree the brake pedal is very hard, my PCars is set to 20% = full braking force...

Have you got simulation steering turned on? I use normal on Forza and find it a lot easier to handle and less snappy.
Fly back tomorrow, so will have a go Friday. TIA.I’ll post some updates too, looks like I’m not the only one. (Also got given a Thrustmaster F458 wheel & pedals this week - typical timing). Will also have a go with that for comparative purposes.
