Hi guys, been having a look through the forums a fair bit so decided it was time to make my own account and show you my current car, and a little bit about my old, terrible ones. Here goes..

So I started off at 17 with a Corsa 1.0 Twinport. Sounds executive I know, but she had an almighty 3 cylinders (although it misfired..) which eventually got it to 60. After being hit by a bus, having a new head and much money thrown at it, it was time to give up and move on as it was never right and frankly I lost hope.

From here I got hold of a very well look after 2004 Renault Clio. 1.5 dci, stacks of history and receipts for every part it’s ever had, it was cracking car to get me to and from my first job. Few little bits got done, idea was to make a 172 replica and I got as far as a ClioSport front grill and some 16” OZ F1 wheels and to me, at the time, it looked awesome.

But then I came across an ex-demo Zetec S Fiesta at my local Ford dealer. A nice rare spec colour, not many options but to me it was beautiful and impulse took over and I traded the Clio for it. Went through various phases, lowered on Team Dynamic wheels for a fast road look, and it’s most well known phase was as below. As low as I could have it, carbon fixed buckets, got lots of attention, but couldn’t go anywhere. Ah.

After attending some classic car shows I decided the Fiesta needed to go, and I needed a bit of classic in my life. So again impulse took over and I bought an E30 Touring. Massive mistake, lots of parts bought but was so rotten underneath I had no choice but to let go. When changing the fuel tank (which was rotten) I came across it was held in by one bolt, the tunnel was rotting away amongst other things that unfortunately I couldn’t see on the previous owners driveway. This lasted all of 6 weeks!

Hope your all still here.. I apologise. Next up after my classic disaster I went back to Ford and got a 2006 Fiesta ST. Great car if I’m honest, apart from the power steering design. Dreadful. This got some coil overs and some wheels thrown on and used daily until I found a new job and could afford the newer ST

So in August 2016 I bought my Fiesta ST3. Got a very good deal on it, and my plan was it’s a lovely car, got all the goodies you would want, nav, heated seats etc, so I’m going to leave it alone. Year and a half on it’s had a few bits done and it’s definitely the best car I’ve owned. Handles like it’s on rails and goes down the road fast enough for an A road blast. The aim for this is to keep it mint as possible. It’s done 6000 miles in its time as it isn’t a daily, and I aim to keep this one a long time. I know my history is probably very bland compared to some I’ve seen, but in their own way I loved every single one. Here’s a photo of the current wagon. More to follow once I’m able to post them!

There are plugins available for Firefox and Chrome that circumvent Photobucket's ransom demands smile

I like your fords and your current st is what I would like to replace my current mk7 zs tdci daily and I think in blue it would look good next to the rs. I always said I'd keep my current cars standard but that plan didn't last long with either of them.

My ST currently has a Milltek non resonated cat back, Mountune boost pipes, Mountune springs, GFB DV+ and a Collins Performance Stage 2 map. Then cosmetic wise just a Triple R Composites splitter and M-SPORT front grill. Would love to do more but moving out this year which is priority!

Sounds like you've done some nice modifications to the st, I was hoping to have an uprated clutch, uprated the front brakes for something more suitable for track use, fit the tubular manifold I have sat about and for a live map put on the rs but as I've now booked to take it to Le mans I may just fit the manifold and wait until next year.

Ideally I need an ITG induction kit and a stage 3 intercooler as then it’ll make roughly 230-240bhp. And if I decide to go higher with power it’s a case of sports cat, new turbo and change of map and I can see upto 300-320bhp!

My eldest has one like that, love it, ride is a bit busy but fantastic fun, suspect as the insurance gets less he will mod it.

Sounds fairly feasible to take them to 300 bhp or more, that must be rapid, I thought the standard ones feels quick-ish but a little held back

Even mine is rapid compared to my other halves which is a standard ST3. Rev limit is raised to about 7500rpm it’s wicked!

The less is more approach would work well.

Standard looks but more go.

I’ve never understood those that go for shouty looks but performance remains standard. Each to their own I guess

I agree, cosmetic wise a nice set of wheels would finish it off I think.

Yeah sorry I stalked your Instagram.

Im selling mine, leaving me on Monday.

My friend had one stole from down the road, and two within a mile on the same night. Plus I've had my fun and want to move on but they are great cars. Hope you have a disklok think its the only reason mine is still on the drive.

Not even that tbh. Different wheels generally leads to subtle lowering & then the slippery slope...!

Remap & a slip-diff is more where it’s at

Ah yeah I do have a Disklok. Also OBD relocated, fuse has been pulled, on CCTV and soon will be garaged and blocked in!

Subtle lowering has already happened haha! The map is awesome but you are right, a LSD will really improve it.
