Nothing at the moment... but i can get my hands on the rough stones.
Will you be getting them cut? Certified? Not many places will take rough stones, as most diamond cutting is done outside the UK. Will you have all the kimberley process documentation in place on the rough stones?
Do you have practical knowledge of the 4 C's?
Sorry I'm asking a lot of questions but it is very difficult to just start selling stones in the trade as most dealers have built up decades of trust and experience that people rely on.

Yes, the kimberley process is still very much in place and a new initiative is coming through from the responsible jewellery council to extend it even further as diamonds are still used to fund conflicts. Lots of customers want to know where there diamonds have come from and that the process from the ground to them has been ethical. Thankyou4calling said:
Going into any businesses you aren’t really knowledgeable about really makes it tough.
Every field has its foibles which you only know when you work in it.
Have you thought about the catering as a venture?

If you are looking to be the cheapest out there, you will want to have your stuff made in the far east. Do you know where i can look for some ring suppliers ...
I only use UK manufacturers as the quality is better.
Unless you really know what you are talking about and dealing with when it comes to diamonds, you could easily end up losing a lot of money. Things that could happen:
Diamonds being swapped out for CZ/Synthetic Moissanite
Getting crystals that are not suitable for faceting
Getting crystals that aren't diamonds
Poor quality cutters that produce undesirable faceted stones
Then you have the logistics of moving them from country to country. I don't want to be a killjoy but buying rough, having them cut then selling them to customers would be very difficult, especially for someone who has no experience with diamonds.
