Pleasantly surprised by this. Even my 15 year old son found it amusing!! Great characters. Now series linked.

Yes, 'good start.
If it carries on at that level, I'll be pleasantly surprised.

Very funny. Subtitles in a few places would have helped me though!

Tommy tiernan who plays the dad (Gerry?) Is good in stand up. His older stuff is like an Irish Billy Connolly.

I get the feeling that the accents have ameliorated/softened for the wider UK audience!
See (hear) Nadine whatsherface from Girls Aloud.

Although she may have been born there, she sure as hell doesn't have a Derry/Londonderry/Doire accent!

Had it recorded and just watched it, very glad I did. Looking forward to more, it's nice to see we still have some good writers.

Got promoted to Series Link after watching it.

Kind of like a cross between Moone Boy and The Inbetweeners!

Found it quite entertaining.

Had to laugh at the bit where she asks the kid to go get the wooden spoon. I have an Irish "mammy" and as a kid would always get the wooden spoon on the arse or back of the legs. She would always ask my brothers or sisters to fetch it though, as they would run like fk to the kitchen as they thought it was funny.

Looking forward to the rest, I think it's on par with the inbetweeners.

I thought that but stuck with it. Quite enjoyed the first one, but think it's overacted, not that funny and stupidly implausible. Shame.

I don’t know. The chip shop incidents last night were relatable. From the theft to the claims of tripping whilst carrying a scented candle. Definitely came up with some far fetched excuses for ‘accidents’ and drunken antics in my teens.

I think that's the point. It's not meant to be serious so the acting is a little over the top along with the story.

That comment might have put me off.
Thought it was very good. Looking forward to the next episode.
