Pocket LiIon jump box
Discussion
My old lead-acid jump box died years back, and I've not really missed it. Until a couple of times over the last couple of days...
The ZX has a new battery on the way, but it reminded me how useful the jump box was. So - the pocket LiIon ones. Are they all roughly equal? Are the current ratings as utterly spurious as they appear? Am I as well-off just sticking a pin into eBay sorted by price? Or are some definitely better than others?

I bought one of these:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/DBPOWER-18000mAh-Portable...
Delighted with it - started a 2.7 V6 diesel from dead flat with ease. From the old school, I genuinely did not think that anything so small could do such a job so easily.
Be aware though that they self-discharge gradually and need to be topped-up every two or three months.
Beware the cheap versions - internets may tell you that they use recycled laptop batteries; how they can be identified is anyone's guess though.

Bought the same one myself, excellent bit of kit, has helped several friends and neighbours and started a number of Caterhams (they always seem to have dodgy batteries). Compact , light and powerful.https://www.amazon.co.uk/DBPOWER-18000mAh-Portable...
