So... the new Griff has 4 point harnesses for which I have ordered replacement seat belts.
The ones I have are the securon 500/30 as per the help page here.

For the fitting are there any tips?

I assume it’s seat out?
What’s involved in that, 4 screws through floor?
Where do the 3 points fix to?
Suggestion on torque for the bolts?
Any simple service to the seat mechanism I should do at the same time?

Thanks in advance.
Richard

I found this. Looks like it covers some of it assuming it’s the same in the griff.

Yes the write up applies to Griffs as well.
One word of warning though the Securon 500/30 is not a direct replacement the 'stalk' is far too long. If you or your passenger are slightly built and have the seat pushed back it ends up near your belly button. People on here swear by them but be aware of this. They also look cheap and chatty as well but that's probably just me biggrin

That’s useful and certainly not inferred by anybody else’s description.

Do you know when the length differential is and if you can get an alternative stalk?
Could you measure yours for mesmile

Securons are 30cm as suggested by part number. IIRC the originals are 26cm not with the car at the minute so can't check.

Have a look here for a few options. Top of the page shows the securon item, but scroll down to the bottom for alternatives.

May be a little harsh but I'd agree they look more "budget" than "quality" wink
