Not too worried about number of seats, more concerned about driving enjoyment, 2007 onwards and sub 5 second 0-60!

Tried to put a symbol in for greater than 2007 so it's from 2007 onwards!

Sadly doesn’t quite meet the sub 5 seconds to 60 requirement laugh

You'd get an SL63 AMG for £30-35k or the new shape SL500 for similar money.

Don't know that I would want a Aston v8 vantage or r8 for 35k as they will be at the bottom of the market (probably for a reoson). maybe AMG of some description or RS audi. If you want something a little different maybe a tvr?

All boxster S models post 2007 will crack 5 seconds.

Not by much, admittedly.

What I meant was I would rather have a very good example of maybe a lesser car than a potentially ruinous example a borderline supercar.
35k should get you into a nice cerebra if that's your thing, just my 2 cents.

For a budget of 35k it'd have to be a nice spec 981 Boxster S for me.

I think Porsche underestimate their 0-60mph figures, I'm sure they'd be quick enough for you, and the noise they make is a wonderful sound.

Wouldn't suffer a whole load of depreciation either, I went to buy a new 718 and didn't like the four pot, so many would hunt down the nicest 981 they could.

I think demand for these cars will always be strong.

You can always rely on ZX10R NIN for a comprehensive list. Usually lots of stuff you wont have thought of too. beer

I’ve no doubt they will, but the official Porsche 0-60 figure for the 981 S was 5.0s. You’ve got to have Sports Chrono to get it under that. Of course, like the poster above said, all German manufacturers are a bit conservative with power and acceleration figures.
