991 or 997 or 996 Turbo s price !!!!
Discussion
Im planning my retirement and funds permitting having a turbo s as Daily driver. I intend to keep my 996GT2 and supercharged Griff for summer days etc.
ill retire in 3-4 years so enjoying checking whats on sale. I discovered that late 997 are around or more expensive than early 991.
Help can anyone enlighten me on this. this also would apply to the late 996 and early 997.
cheers

GTS models for 997 and 991.1 gens are being dragged by their contemporary GT3 prices. The "purer" the GTS spec (i.e. the closest you can get to coupe, RWD, manual, no sunroof, GTS interior if available) the more they're worth. The corresponding S models are then being dragged up by the GTSs etc etc

To add to the above, with half an eye on finances if you're retiring, if you can find yourself a manual, coupe 991.1 GTS that's about as safe a place to put your money outside a GT3 as you can have and might give you a bit of variety from your turbo cars?
Cheers so GTS 991.1 hopefully they are still affordable in 3-4years time thanks for that i,ll be in uk late spring need to test drive one.Ive read the enthusiasm owners have for the GTS

Perceived future value IMO.
they can put any price down on paper but whos going to fork out that kind of money i nearly bought a 2011 very low mileage 997S for 74K in 2015( instead bought the GT2) point is that 997 would be priced up now in the 80,s. The only 996 turbo of any uniqueness etc is the X50 i can see a premium on these cars because of their rarity. i just feel that prices are being driven up away from the drivers affordability.whatever i buy i will keep until im 80 and un insurable
