I currently have Goodyear Eagle F1's. The front are ready for replacement and have barely lasted 10k miles. What are the best tyres to go for now? I've been considering the Michelin Pilot Sport 4 as they seem well regarded.

Thanks

Definitely a good option - fit to the rear first and swap the rears onto the front to wear them out, if you're doing in pairs.

Tyre mileage is highly individual to use - you can expect more doing mainly motorway miles, but not much more if you do a lot of town work as you'll scrub the inner and outer edges way before the centre of the tread is worn out

The Michelins are currently testing as the best on the market in that segment!

I run Pirelli P Zeros on my Scirocco and they're pretty good both from a performance and wear perspective. Only downside is that they can be a bit noisy on certain surfaces.

I don't think you can go wrong with Michelin PS4 but if you're on 19" rims then consider the PS4S.

Hi

Just fitted 4 X Pilot Sport 4 to my Scirocco yesterday after coming from Eagle F1's ( Asymmetric 2 and Asymmetric 3)

Initial impressions are good but too early to tell really so will check back in soon.
