I noticed on Kwikfit website there is the option of "summer" tyres and "All Season" tyres? I have never ever heard of this before? Will I be ok to use a summer tyre all year around in the UK if I buy a summer tyre? what do others do?

This is the tyre

Because on the other thread you mentioned just changing the front tyres. So if you were to change summer to 'all weather' on just one axle that would not be recommended. With two separate threads that might not have come to light.

Nothing to do with allseason versus summer but I personally wouldn't touch such a tyre with a bargepole!

You have no idea what tyres they are or if they are any good, it doesn't even give the brand........ Just "budget"....... You will get the cheapest of the cheapest ditch-finders on the planet.

You need to realise that you are scrimping on the one thing that keeps you "on the black-stuff" and for not much more you can get proper tyres that will keep you there better.
