Yes you can, but none of the good stuff. Anything on the controlled list can't be prescribed by them. I've used them twice, once to get antibiotics for a chest infection (successfully) and once trying to get a repeat prescription of codeine which my GP had previously prescribed and they couldn't do that.

Considering how hard it is to get a GP appointment I think it's a great service.
