Hi, I've had my 997 C4S for 3 years now and done 5k, 4K and then 1k mileage each year. Car tax is due end of Jan and I was thinking of SORN'ing the car for part of the year with me doing so few miles.
I've never SORN'd a vehicle before and don't really know how it works.
Could I SORN it for a couple of months or does it have to be in 6 month chunks? Equally could I SORN it and then when weather gets better tax it for a month, then SORN for a month, then tax for a month etc etc?
Thanks in advance for replies. Rob

On a slightly different sorn question can anyone advise on this:
If your MOT runs out while car sorn how do go about getting back on road? Do you tax then MOT or MOT then tax? And can you drive it to the MOT center without tax legally?

You can drive legally to a pre-arranged MOT appointment without tax.
