Well, I've gone and ordered the engine from American Speed who've been great so far.

I did have an attack of common sense with all these huge hp figures buzzing round my head, so decided to order.....

....the 600hp Supercharger anyway

In a bike rag today Jay Leno of chat show fame is selling his jet engine powered bike, well with the fad being bike engine in cars ie mugabusa caterhams etc, Stig could buy the bike and transplant the engine
If I remember rightly the bike was called a Y2K and had a helicopter engine stalled for warp speed !!
$135K secures

I bet all that rotating mass does wonders for the handling.

If only the transaxle would take more than 600 ft. lbs of torque. You could go with something like this www.montygwilliams.com/

Cheers!

Bluesatin

Time to get a 18degree head from Gail and Chapman racing, the only real difference between the factory 350CID and my 377 CID is the 18 degree Chapman/Edelbrock head and wow a 100 BHP

Tell us more about the supercharger and the drive. I've wondered what could fit behind the sloping rear passenger wall. How far will you be able to drive with the small gas tanks and a big motor?

Also, where will you source headers that fit 18 degree heads?

Thanks,

Ken Wright

Ken,

The engine runs a Childs & Albert 6-71 Supercharger which is mounted to the top of the engine, not the front so there's no bulkhead clearance problems.

The 700hp version has a supercharger which is too tall to fit under the GTR rear hood(trunk?) so I'm goign with the 600. Incidently, as the Can-Am has an even lower rear hood than the GTR, I don't know whether you could get one in there at all.

the 18 degree headers ( exhaust manifolds) are made by Primary designs (Thame) and will fill the Ultima exhaust box or they will do you a repackable one
