I've just heard on the local news that, yet again, a street in our nearby city is closed due to a "police incident".

It seems that barely a day goes by without there being an incident involving the police.

Surely these people should be busy dealing with crime and not running wild causing incidents?

I suspect you are simply just fishing for a bite but maybe a crime is the incident?

Incident could equal crime. Just a thought.

Did you get a fishing rod for Xmas?

I think OP may have been copying a letter from The Viz biggrin

Another one I remember went along the lines of-
"I keep seeing "In case of emergency break glass", this is ridiculous because surely any emergency can only be made worse with bits of broken glass everywhere"

The OP will be along soon to ask why the police are involved in fires when they should be out catching criminals.

I think there might have been an element of humour (regarding the wording) in the OP's post...

Trolling doesn’t work if it’s that obvious.

1/10.

This morning's incident involved the use of a TASER and has been referred to the independent police watchdog.

I am not sure which one that is, how we can be sure it's independent and why a dog is being asked to arbitrate in what could well be a very serious matter.

Bit like a cat scan and a lab report. Animals are doing amazing things nowadays.

Similar weapons.

Ghostbusters - 'Never cross the streams. It would be bad".

Taser - to quote the sheriff from The Hangover "Ride the lightning".
