I need one......mine stopped working yesterday. TVR Parts sell them for about £13 plus VAT and carriage, so around £30 in total. Does anyone know what car they come off please? I have tried the alternative parts list.

That must be one heck of a carriage charge? Could that be a mistake? (I would expect the carriage on that to be about £3?)

I could be mistaken, as I was looking on my iPad, and you cannot complete a purchase on an iPad thanks to the top bar, including the shopping cart, being too wide for the screen!
I will check on my computer

Just checked. Including VAT, and £7.95 plus VAT for packing and carriage, it comes to £25.94, so i was slightly over the top.

It says Vauxhall on Chimaera Parts, but I doubt it. Mine is the alloy one (99 car) and both mirrors have stopped working, but I suspect it may be a wire off the back, as I have had the door card off in the last 12 months and have changed the mirrors too.

This fella wants £48 for a used one! Having a laugh.

He has several other Chimaera parts. They're all off my old car that I sold in May 2017. Looks like it got totalled. frown The wheels were Estorils but they're not listed, nor are any of the front or rear body parts. The last 3 digits of the VIN are on the back of the dash, definitely my old car. I was the one who sprayed the door mirror bodies black.

Looking to replace or retrim my tunnel and bolsters, he has some in black but I need dark blue. Might have been tempted with his black and try to recolour but those prices - no way

And they've been for sale for ages now

I know you've sourced one now but for info should people have the same issue and find this post. Mine broke and got stuck trying to open the window. As I was in France at the time I resorted to dismantling it and cleaning it up. Pretty easy job and it's been working perfectly ever since.

Useful to know and thank you.
Mine got stuck in the down position at 6 am at the start of an 80 mile drive.
Fortunately the drive was to my TVR guy, who had the car for the day.
He worked out that it was the switch failed by swapping them over. So if anyone gets stuck with an open window and it is the switch, that is a temporary solution.
He told me to replace the switch, but I may well also do as you have and see what is wrong with the incumbent switch.

It’s the weather wink
Mines been doing it once or twice, luckily it sticks in the up position hehe

Or the contacts inside it are dirty and sticking. Might as well see if you can fix it Buddy, plenty of pics biggrin
Surely I can swap them over as the left one must be in better nick ?

.....I could use that on my email address book too. Bloody Apple OS dumps contact details for everyone in there, including scammers and unsolicited emails. Perhaps contact cleaner would deal with that?
