Spending a packet on these @ Waitrose, anywhere decent to buy online and recommendations for type? I like it strong and black.

Are you wanting a bulk buy or variety?

I get beans from a company called Has Bean, it's a £6 or so DD for a bag once a month so it's not cheap but you get a great variety of coffees.

I haven't used them for a while (now buy from Aldi in store) but https://www.smokeybarn.co.uk/ were/are good.

(They used to be owned by a PHer)

Lidl's Bellarom Italian beans are bloody strong and bloody cheap compared to Waitrose. I have to set my bean to cup machine to mild when I use them. Tasty buggers they are.

In my (fairly basic and 5 year old Delonghi B2C) machine they make a nice cup - best taste/£ I've found so far and have been through a fair few Kg of beans!

I'm still a regular customer; an interesting variety of quality beans. I prefer buying from independent businesses too.

I buy from pactcoffee.com, I quite enjoy it but the flavours are a bit more subtle than your average supermarket dark roast :-)

I use local roasters being in Edinburgh have a few to choose from, super fresh and you can try before you buy.

I buy from Union Coffee - their Revelation blend is what Goodwood serve. Very good it is too.

I buy beans for work and home from Mancoco in Manchester as it's near my office, they are my go-to place now... plus they make a good flat white while you wait for them to bag the beans. Very good coffee and service.
