No hobbies as such really works in the building trade so quite fit.
Eats out quite a bit so was thinking meal but that's a bit boring and its all he does really.

If he likes his food, what about a cooking course, or vouchers towards.

It cost a bit more than £100, but my wife got Ian McNabb from the Icicle Works (you might need to Google him) to play a home gig for my birthday party. It was brilliant. I'd always suggest experience over gadgets...

So best idea I have come up with so far is a decent Leatherman with name engraved on the side?

Had my 50th last year, and the daughters bought me a trial flying lesson.

Really enjoyed it.

That was my first thought too. What builder could fail to appreciate a good leatherman?

Other ideas, a good bottle of single malt whisky, a leather wallet, a powerful LED torch running on 18650 batteries?
