Hi Folks,

Anybody know where I can obtain replacement top supsension bushes as fitted to the top of the front shock absorbers?

I'm told that they're Koni, but Koni don't supply them seperate.

Any help would be appreciated.

Bob.

Just had a look on the Superflex website, and they dont list them. Maybe because there are some differences in the bushes between different damper manufacturers. I'm fairly sure that Spax have supplied separate bushes to me in the past. Mind you, if you got original Konis on, maybe the dampers need changing anyway.....

Well, they're not as good as the redline adjustables on the rear but they work.

I'm not sure I want to spend £'s at the moment and it's only the bushes that are shot.

A little demon on my shoulder keeps saying "buy the adjustables!" tho'.

That's great cheers guys!

I'll give 'em a call tomorrow.

(Or do I buy the adjustable dampers and have done with it? )

TVR Carparts quoted £26.50 +VAT & Carriage!!!
(That's for a pair BTW)

That sounds pretty steep to me.
Although they do have a monopoly, being the only people who can get them I suppose.

I may go down the new damper route. But not before I try some ingenuity first .

I have a set of bushes that have come of my 400 as I just replaced the shocks. I'll look at them tomorrow for you if you want. They seemed to be ok if ~I remember as it was the shocks that were a bit soft.

Mind you you may be able to adjust the shocks as well, yours if you want them to look at

Cheers

Paul

That sounds good Paul - any news yet?

BTW I used to have a 400SE that looked just like yours, except it had a blue interior.
Ah memories, *sigh*
