Chaps in order to see how long an advert has been on the trader is it in the URL like this
https://www.autotrader.co.uk/classified/advert/201...
I assume this is 2/9/17 first put on sale? or am I totally wrong?

You can also check if the car has been taxed in this period by entering the registration here..

My main thought is a car at a reasonable price that hasn't sold in 6 months probably has something wrong with it, it puts me off the idea of travelling 100 miles to see it.
I'd imagine that it depends on the car - the fact you're willing to travel a little way to see it would indicate it's not a shopping cart (so to speak) so it'll surely be more sensitive to concerns about brexit/election/etcHeartworm said:

I'm having exactly the same thoughts at the moment - looking at an Octavia Scout that looks like just what I need at a reasonable price but it's been on sale since August. They generally don't hang around long so it is making me wonder if the trip over to Manchester would be a wasted one. Heartworm said:

For all the advert is months old, the price may have been reduced since the original advert date. Gassing Station | Car Buying | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
