Cold Lower? back
Discussion
On the chilly days I can be toasty elsewhere but the lower back still gets a chill, top rides up & just t shirt exposed. I dont wear bib shorts or bib tight, is that the answer? Still only lycra tho, can't imagine much warmth?
Tried using a neoprene weighs belt, is better, but still not ideal, what do you use?

Bibbed shorts/tights will definitely help. You can get winter ones, like these, with a fine layer of fleece in them which are surprisingly warm given how thin they are:

Thermo bib tights and an icebreaker merino wool t-shirt as base with a cycling jersey and then a Jacket e.g. Castelli Gabba
But before you spend any money on any Merino product, try and find out if you're allergic to wool!I bought a really nice Merino baselayer. I wore it once for about 300 yards, and as soon as I'd warmed up, I had to turn round, ride home and replace it with a manmade fibre one, as it felt like I was wearing a shirt made out of brillo pads knitted together and heated with a blowtorch.
