What model is this

As per the link, that's a Breitling Navitimer (806). The bracelet is not original but it would most likely have been fitted with a leather strap anyway. The crystal should be acrylic and would clean up nicely with some polywatch or toothpaste. Find a nice strap and that would be a tidy heirloom.
Navitimer 806.
Breitling won’t touch it without using their full restoration service (slow, expensive, and not so great at preserving originality) so be careful which independent you get to service it as it can be very easily ruined.
Craig aka Chronodeco in Oregon is a vintage breitling specialist (highly regarded on vintage forums) and will take care of it for a very reasonable price.

Thanks very much for the replies. My friend is very happy as she had no idea how much it was worth.
Now to find someone to have a look at it.
