V8S Suspension Mods

I'm thinking of buying a V8S but many of the cars I've seen seem to sit a little high and the wheels don't fill the arches as much as other Tiv's.
Is there a plentiful supply of aftermarket suspension mods? What might it cost and are there any known problems in changing the OE set up?

That's intentional - bugger all ground clearance anyway on an S and no-one wants to wreck several hundred quids worth of SS exhaust by grounding at speed

Select Search, type 'suspension', select TVR S Forum and All Dates. Get yourself a few beers and prepare to be reading for a while
Gaz, Spax, AVO and Nitron and the most commonly used damper manufacturer for the S series. Complete coilover set would be in the region of £500 for the cheaper end and over a grand for the Nitrons. What would be best for you depends on what you are trying to achieve.

You're mainly concerned about looks rather than handling I assume. The V8S has more ground clearance than the V6 models so you can lower it a little without scraping the road all the time. Mine is about an inch lower than standard and some are much lower. But you need to be aware it is all too easy to muck up the handling if you lower it, a lot of work has gone into making mine handle.

Yes but it has got to be able to get around here where the local authority in their wisdom leave potholes in the road and spend the cash on speed humps
Could be an optical illusion or it could be that the car has a passenger but it loks a bit low at the rear, a sort of reverse rake angle

But seriously if the ride height is not such a problem on the V8 as the V6 surely even a 25mm drop in ride height would improve the aesthetics,
