Would you vote Corbyn if he promised to stop Brexit?
Discussion
Just to set out my stall.
So if you voted remain, and also didn't vote for Labour, could you vote for Corbyn if he promised to reverse Brexit?
FWIW I don't think I could. I also think the Brexit debacle is too far along the road now for us to turn back unfortunately.
Be interested to see other viewpoints on this.
- I voted Conservative at the last election as I thought a Labour government would be calamitous
- I voted to remain in the EU as I thought Brexit was a mistake

I’m sure there will be lots like this who would.

Have a look at the poll here.

It's an interesting question
How much damage could a Labour government do in 1 term? HOL and HOC would reign in any real stupidity.
Would I believe JC could/would halt Brexit? He's a Eurosceptic after all.
Good way of looking at things, but I doubt that I could force myself to vote for him. Even if I was sure that he would do his best. How much damage could a Labour government do in 1 term? HOL and HOC would reign in any real stupidity.

Fortunately, PH is unrepresentative of the wider world. This is the place that once predicted a UKIP government in one of the "How will you vote" polls. Also countless Tory landslides.Have a look at the poll here.

Naive to assume that Corbyn would not be able to implement his plans. If the Momentum-controlled NEC now push for mandatory re-selection of candidates then Corbyn could be backed by a parliamentary majority of hard left MPs. The House of Lords would simply be abolished. How much damage could a Labour government do in 1 term? HOL and HOC would reign in any real stupidity.

Nothing stopping Corbyn reversing his position on Brexit in opposition only to change his mind once again when in power.
As Labour moves towards reversing Brexit - today it’s the customs union, soon it will be the single market - it looks like the question posed by the OP may be a real choice should there be another early election.
“Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn is expected to back the UK being in a permanent customs union with the EU in a speech setting out his approach to Brexit.
The policy shift could lead to Labour siding with Tory rebels to defeat Theresa May on her Brexit strategy.”
