Any reccomendations for tyre brand/price for rear on '99 C5.Size 275 40 18.Anyone running 35's on the back or do you reckon it best to stick to 40's???

Kumhos tend to be a very popular tyre choice for Vettes. They're good tyres, being modelled on more expensive rubber, and they're cheap - which is what you want.

I'm running 285/35/18's on the back and 235/40/17 on the front at the moment.

I've got some standard sized tyres going on over the weekend, either some Toyo T1R's or T1S's havent made my mind up yet.

The lower profiles makes the gap in the arches ugly, plus mine been lowered and I'm fed up of catching the under spoiler on Speed bumps/Drop Kerbs/Manhole covers/stones/plastic bags/beer cans(normally carry these a few hundred yards till they fall out)/anything dead in the road! I'm gaining a bit height with the standard boots so should help a bit.

My friends call my car the Road Sweeper... NICE!
