It’s a shame TVR 1 didn’t get FIA papers, there would be more of them around now.

And while you are at it, can I put in a request for all those special one-off mythical cars that were built for owners/directors of TVR

1 and 3 would I guess be very hard to find. A Griffith 400 would be a much easier task. If anyone knows of a restoration project going I would be obliged if you let me have the contact info. Much appreciated rofl

No 3 would be worth more IMHO because of its racing heritage :-)

Serious question!

Does anyone have records of TVR's 1, 2 and 3 competing, I have only found one event (Barbon) with a TVR before the RGS bodied sports saloon was built.

I guess Trevor may have also competed in 1953 at events such as Altcar, Leighton Hall, Queensferry or New Brighton (Wirral), but I've not found any entries details.

Also does anyone know where No2 competed as a 1172 cc Formula car in the 1960's and who was the owner / driver?

Thank you for your help.

Rob

are there any pictures of car no 1? TVR one? can only find Trevors drawing of it.

maybe a picture could be found in some (local) newspaper from that time in 1949?

I guess that must have been some news in the day, a new car builder/name and their first TVR with some luck they also made a picture of it :-)
