Since seeing the first Chimaera in 1994 I always wanted one. Currently own my first, a lovely Starmist blue one and feel honoured to be part of the TVR marque. Lots of complaining goes on about them so I decided to praise. Anyone else feel proud.......

Got my first TVR a little over 12 months ago and wasn't sure what I was letting myself in for after all the negative comments you usually hear about TVR's. However my '98 Starmist Green 450 Chimaera has been totally reliable and puts a big grin on my face when ever I take it out. Le Mans this year was a blast, especially seeing all the other TVR's parked up in Houx. Also Piston Heads has been a real find, and any worries or questions I had have been answered by enthusiastic and very knowledgeable owners. As the famous Ford Mustang slogan goes... 'There's no substitute for cubic inches....'

Thought that was by Carrol Shelby of Cobra fame?

It was used for an advertising camapign for the 350ci Mach One Mustang from 1970 (used to own one and had the brochure and press cuttings that went with it - VERY sad I know....)
