No doubt many of you will be aware of this mod, but it was new to me and I tried it on my Squier Classic Vibe Strat to great effect.

Using existing parts, a different use for one of the Tone pots which then controls a blend from the middle pup.
At fully clockwise, you have standard strat lineup. Turned down is as follows.
1. Neck plus middle in series
2. Neck and middle in parallel. Neck fades out bridge fades in-out of phase
3. Middle- no change
4. Middle and bridge in parallel. Fades to middle and neck-out of phase in parallel
5. Bridge. Fades to middle and bridge in series.
Makes a vast change to available tones, with some great Humbucker-type variations to be had. I love it!
