...not sure I said this here, but I joined the Wedge fold last year by getting an old project 2x2 280i restro project.

Due to lack of time & other projects, it is still not running, but aiming to get it running for BBWF'18 (hopefully!)

• Mechanically it is good to go (previous owner did all the body off on the project)
• Wiring is a mess, but that is almost finished now (usual fun all-black wiring loom)
• Interior is a mess, but Ziggy is playing with that now as well
• Paintwork is... well... presentable. I'll probably respray it at some point in the next year or so, but I have 2 other projects ahead of the Wedge to do first
• Engine works (needs a good service though)
• Chassis is renewed
• Suspension is renewed
• Automatic transmission was converted by previous owner to a manual. At some point I will convert it back

Other things will be done based on MOT and drive findings.

So, yes, be afraid! I will be turning up to more Wedge events in an actual TVR...

I'll probably be able to come with or without a TVR.

I came last couple of years in either a Lotus or a Merc, just nice to come in a TVR for once...

I missed it last year.so I had a year to get the big jobs done and I still have a list of jobs
