Went to Germany this weekend with some of the Pistonheaders for the "Mini Hoon".

Went to the Ring but it was 42 degrees, raining and about 50 yards visability due to the fog so unsurprisingly didn't get to drive it

Blew the clutch actuator connection leaving Antwerp yesterday so car was recovered

RAC Euro recovery is excellent and although we had to use the ferry rather than the Eurotunnel they flat bedded the car to the boat, and then flatbedded off at Dover.

The actuator connection is this stupid connector between the master cylinder and the actuator on the gearbox. Seems that the heat from the lefthand turbo has popped the connector as I had problems all weekend with the clutch pedal going "long" on me. The car was fine on long fast runs, but was not happy on the slow stuff so will have to get some more cooling and insulation work done before the next trip.

Car pulls like a train now and on the autobahns was a lot of fun
