Vauxhall GTC 1.6t 200 Limited Edition

So after having my Kia Pro Ceed GT written off here is my next purchase that i made in October 2017. Hadn't even thought about buying a GTC and just happened to stumble across it on the day "right place at right time with a decent price".
Car had one previous owner and that was GM and it came with just over 10,000 miles on the clock on a 16 plate.
Car's not packed with toy's like my Kia was, but does have the Navi 950 intelliLink sat nav with OnStar and adaptive FlexRide chassis system which works well and sit's on massive 20" wheels.
Although it's not the fastest car it's enough for me at 197bhp doing 0-60 in 7.3secs as didn't really fancy going full throttle with a VXR

|https://thumbsnap.com/jdNOF3QM[/url]Nice cars these. Make sure you keep a good check on the electronic thermostat. We've seen two in work which have stuck shut and killed the engine. Funnily enough neither had the overheat light on. Seen one as low as 16k miles with head gasket failure.

Great Cars, I had a 2.0 cdti SRI for 60,000 miles over 3 years brilliant car handled very well and could cover ground fast and competently, quiet and stable on M ways went to the alps twice for the ski, nothing broke and felt good for another 60k when it went back!
Boot was also surprisingly big could fit the dog cage in with the back seats up, something I cannot do in my Evoque!

My brother in law has a 1.6 Turbo and they are relitively pokey. I undersatand there was limited numbers of the Nurburgring edition but never realised they did limited versions of these.
what bhp did he have ? they seem to come in two options, 177bhp and 197bhp.Aids0G said:

I can average around 32-34mpg normal mixed everyday driving, mostly town and a few country roads. Hitting the motorway, and keeping a nice flow without going silly i can get about 41-43mpg.
plus with tour mode on, speed limiter selected and a nice and comfy ergonomic seat drivers seat it makes for a nice cruiser when you want it to be.
Well after now owning the Gtc for 7 months it's already had a repair lol, mate decide to reverse whilst I had my door open, quick trip to Vauxhall and £100 later (mate paid) hopefully that's the only drama it'll see.
On the road car is a dream to drive, even with 5 adults it still pulls, although wouldn't want a smaller engine as the car is fairly heavy. The flex ride system works well and makes driving the car either on a cruise or smashing the country roads a pleasure.

About on par really driving wise. Both drive the same and are the same in terms of specs, think the Pro Ceed has a Twin scroll turbo so kicks in earlier.
If I had to choose I'd have the Kia over the Gtc.
The Pro Ceed had a nicer dash, a few more toys (reverse camera/better sat nav etc) but also had the longer warranty and with not many about on the road.
