Hi,
Looking for some help, I’m 18 and currently drive a 1.2tsi Polo, I would really like to get something hotter this year. I live in a good area for the insurance and haven’t had any accidents. I’m looking for a 2014+ car, I’ve been considering an S1 as it uses my current cars - big brother engine... the 2.0 TFSI. I’m open to ideas as long as the insurance is fairly cheap, I currently have no black box and the car produces 120bhp.
Be great to hear your replies smile

Thanks for your replies, slightly bending the insurance- I’ve managed to get an S1 down to as low as £1900-2K
A reasonably cheap hidden gem to insure, I would’ve guessed it due to the low rate of young drivers in this car

What about something like a BMW 120i / 120d M Sport?

Not a hot hatch per se, but a decent turn of power and shouldnt be too bad to insure. My son had a 120d M Sport insured in his own name when he was 19. Get the right spec and they can be quite nice - his had 18's, Alpine sound upgrade and full black leather.
