All things being well i’ll be completing on a place that needs a new bathroom. Acceptable place for a dump but I like shiny things.

Ceiling is plasterboard so mounting speakers isn’t an issue but i’m struggling to see the solution. Ideally I’d like something with a thud but unsure if there is an all in one solution or if I will have to mount an amp in another room?

Suggestions on a postcard please.

We’re getting a bathroom refit and the mirrored cupboard has built in Bluetooth speakers. Not sure about thump though

Interested in opinions on this, I normally fit them in my developments as a bit of cheap wow when I'm showing people round but they're never much cop.

They work but the sound is usually akin to your most basic tranny radio. I'm actually fitting the mirror/demister/speaker ones in the latest but I don't expect much.

How tall are your ceilings? IIRC above 225cm you're out of any zones so IP20 might be okay. Confirm with a spark though.

Alternatively these should work. No idea about sound quality though.

We’ve got a monitor audio ct 160 t2 (its that range, may have got the model number wrong - we have the bigger one in the kitchen). It’s been fitted for 6 years now, connected to a sonos zp120 in the loft. Works a treat, sound is really pretty good and plenty loud enough.

I have a pair of Monitor Audio CP-CT260's in my bathroom powered from a Sonos Connect Amp in another room and I can have a full-on 90's Ibiza style foam party in mine.

Much the same here - KEF Speakers in the ceiling running to a SONOS Connect AMP remotely - works a charm.

For full disclosure that's my website, we're the top seller of Lithe Audio and offer way more than Screwfix do with custom bluetooth names, Amazon Echo compatibility etc! As well as advice etc, good luck getting that from Screwfix smile

It's still our top selling bathroom speaker system!

Just as a bit of techie feedback, you're website is incredibly slow to load but the product seems decent!

Must be just you as runs like a whippet for me, and Google Insights agrees with me.

My dad was asking about a bathroom speaker - will check this one out.

I was just searching for "Lithe" and realised that I had already started a thread on this.

I purchased one in the end and the bathroom refit starts Monday so thank you for your advice, even if it is a little bit later than expected.
