Stats on 911 theft

One reason for getting rid of my RS4 was the fact that we got broke into twice as scum really do like the RS cars round our way. My god those cars attract the wrong type of attention. Spoke to a police office friend of mine who works traffic and he reckoned 911 was less desirable to thieving scum - so I ordered a GTS. Anyone hear of 911's being a target? Its a difficult subject as non of want to tempt fate...
The Cayenne will be the model providing most of that data I would suspect, based on the vehicles in the Top Ten:

I think RS Audi’s rally do attract the wrong sort of attention....have a look on the Audi RS forum. There are a few people who have had issues. It put me off buying one.
I remember some time last year Tom Hartley Jr tweeted that he’d just bought his wife an RS6...within a week she was car jacked.
I suppose a lot of it is about where you park at night and where you’ll be driving it. Major cities in stop/start traffic and parked on a drive easily visible from the road are not good!

Thanks for that info 2010spy. Interesting. It seems to be RS's are stolen for other robberies. Rangies are stolen to be taken out of the country. Id never ever get another RS, great cars, but you feel like some sort of middle class gangsta with all the yoofs staring at you. not worth the agro. GTS it is then!
