Thoughts on this home tv set up please
Discussion
Hi,
I'm looking to set up a roughly 6.0 x 5.0m room (that has 3 large windows) as a second living room/TV room. We're about to baton and board the room next week so will be able to run cables through the walls as they go in, this will hopefully mean the install will be largely cable free. I have a budget of about 4k and am considering the following:
55 inch B7 OLED - https://www.richersounds.com/tv-projectors/oled-tv...
q7000i 5.1 - https://www.richersounds.com/q-acoustics-7000i-plu...
Sony AV receiver - https://www.richersounds.com/tv-home-cinema/av-rec...
Is this anywhere near correct? I listened to a couple of relatively expensive soundbars and i wasn't hugely impressed.
Thanks for any advice offered.

TV absolutely yes.
Sounds I’d go for this...
Cheaper and will sound far better.

Perhaps add two rears for 7.1
Those little satellites you’ve picked will struggle to fill a space that big.

I bought that Sony amp over xmas, from richer sounds, though I bought it with a Onkyo atmos speaker package and I am very impressed.
Plenty of features on the amp ie bluetooth, wifi, hdmi pass through etc and fairly easy to set up. I will be buying some banana plugs as i find the the speaker cable connectors on the amp a bit of a faff. Im currently buying my first house so only set it up temporarily to try it outas hopefully moving soon so will set up properly and hide cables then, and one or both of our kittens chewed a rear speaker cable, gits!

Thanks for feedback. Sounds like TV and AV receiver are OK.
Problem with speakers are that the commanding officer doesn't want to see them and wants them to be as small as possible. Are all teh small sets going to struggle?
