About 12 years ago I was heavily into photography and spent most of my day on this forum and a number of other ones. I don't seem to be able to find some of the forums I was on then, it doesn't help that I can't remember the name. One of them was PBase I think but that doesn't seem very good now, the other had a very good model/glamour/boudoir section I seem to remember that it had to do with someones name but that is all I can remember.

I bought my girlfriend a Boudoir photoshoot for her 40th which went down well, she is up for trying to reproduce and improve on some of the shots and I am looking for good places to get tips. Does anyone know which site I may have once been a member of our recommend any? Unfortunately I will not be able to share any of my pictures here for critique wink

That depends on whether you want to idly browse or to "talk photography"....

I want to know the technique behind the pictures, lots of places to browse that sort of picture. I have my eye on some lights and backdrops on Amazon that seem to get good reviews

If you're on Facebook, there's a few decent groups there. I'm on Nikon Photography UK. Quite a lot of the posts and discussions seem to think that equipment is the answer to everything but there's a few pro guys all too willing share advice.

I'm amazed nobody has asked to see some of the pictures in order to be able to offer suggestions on lighting etc.

http://photography-on-the.net/forum/

One of the best Photography Forums around. I've been a Member there since 2005, truly excellent for all types of photography, amateur to pro and equipment talk.
