Did they just stop making the 5 series in SE spec?

For 3 litre engines?
I've got a 525d SE from 2013, and would like a 530 or 535. However, every single one for sale post 2015 is an M Sport. Which isnt great for me because I think the wheels look ghastly and I like my chrome trim round the doors on the SE.
I've seen a couple of 'luxury' variants but only 2 in the country which are SE spec 3.0 engines post 2015. Did BMW just give them up?

From the LCI in mid 2013 SE became 'bottom of the range' rather than 'not an M Sport'.I've got a 525d SE from 2013, and would like a 530 or 535. Luxury is, for all intents and purposes, the 'new SE' for the LCI F10.
I am also in the market for a G30 530D SE and I’m finding it equally difficult to find a used one. I kept my last 530D for 10 years and I’m looking for a 2017 car.
The used market appears to have almost entirely M cars.
Would it be worthwhile to buy one and swop out the sun protection glass. Is the M sport suspension capable of being set up to be as forgiving as the SE?
Thanks and apologies for the newbie questions.

I have a G30 520d SE and from memory you can specify the M Sport without sports suspension (I think as a no cost option). I have the adaptive package on my SE having had an F10 SE without it and I probably wouldn’t bother again. Selecting Sport mode makes a big difference to engine and gearbox but doesn’t really deliver anything to the steering.
If your 530d is 10years old it may be worth trying a 520d. The F10 was a great car but the G30 is a leap forward again. It’s incredibly smooth and a really nice place to spend time behind the wheel (massive difference to the 2017 320d M Sport Auto I’ve been driving for the last couple of weeks) and plenty quick enough for most day to day scenarios.
