Looks like my injectors need a clean/serviće.

I would like to be able to drop them in and collect to avoid postage risks.

Anyone recommend anywhere centred around leaminton spa ?

Dom at Powers can do them I think, no idea of price.
Try some Redex first, did wonders for my clattering injectors mate smile

ASDA were selling a 3 bottle pack of redex for 7 quid the other day, as part of their roll back promotion, picked a pack up and will throw some in mine .

That’s where I got my 3 pack, great value
For ages I’ve listened to the odd clatter and assume valve gear then saw this stuff and the price and concluded it’s good practice to use it every now and then, my fuel pump sometimes makes a bit of noise,
It’s all running lovely since adding the Redex. I’ve used it over a number of tanks fulls now and no engine clatter, result thumbup

Redex has its uses. Used it myself. But it won't do the complete job that ultrasonic cleaning will do.

The years of lacquer / varnish build up won't be shifted. I used injectortune in 2015 on my last chimaera and it improved cold starting a lot. 8 bhp more too on a dyno test. smile They do it all by post and it was a turn round of only a few days.

Excellent Ian, we’ve all seen the videos of before and after dyno tests, very impressive.
My injectors were cleaned before install a couple of years ago now so the Redex possibly had less to do on my car but still they are quieter since using it.
I’ve got one more tank full to use although I will get more then not use it for awhile just to see if it’s not just my imagination but I’m sure the engines quieter overall, the fuel pump is for sure. I fitted a new filter recently so flow shouldn’t be a problem. My fuel regulator on the odd occasion had whinnied on start up for about 2 seconds in the past, no sign of it for the last few months so I’m well pleased. Cheap repairs please me hehe

Lucas started an injector cleaning system called 'asnu', this was back when Lucas meant Lucas.
If you Google 'asnu injector cleaning' you'll find an accredited firm near you.
