I don't know about the 225 but my dad has had a cupra (180 bhp) for 10 ish years and it has been fairly faultless, personally I wouldnt call it an exciting car but that's just my opinion. It also has quite a dissapointing exhaust note (standard exhaust).
On a side note I thought you said you had no intentions of getting rid of your ST170 as you bought it because it was previously owned by your family, (father?).
