Direct Marketing - No opt-out option on surveys

Morning,

Logged into PH this morning to be greeted by a survey. Usually I don't complete these, but for some reason, I did it today...

I however have a beef with the final screen... No opt-out option for you selling my details for third party direct marketing - you can't just say 'unsubscribe from any emails you receive', that's not good enough.



Needless to say I did not submit my details.

I suggest you have a read of the ICO guidelines on direct marketing, particularly the part about opt in/opt out.

It was very Ford-oriented... Whether I'd seen various Ford adverts across the site in the past six months.
