best family crossover?

Looking for a car to replace our family diesel astra. We went to look at some Kuga's a few weeks back and the wife said no as you can't turn the front airbag off.

Ended up in a kia sportage which was a great price at 3 months old but the interior really lacked for me.

Currently in a 165bhp astra so we don't want to lose too much power.

I really like the look of the new kadjar, although unsure if the airbag can be turned off. I like the Dynamic nav S model with the 19's - anybody got any experience?

Ideally 15k tops including trade in, Under 2 years old, diesel preferred but not essential, she wants a big crossover with airbags turned off. I would prefer 120+ bhp, 4x electric windows, nice seats and some form of touchscreen / nav system.

have also looked at the tucson and qashqui but they don't do it for me?

The only answer to that is to call the dealers to check if they can be turned off.

Surprised the Kuga doesn't let you deselect the nearside airbag...
