Got my eBay details phished.

Feck sake. I'm usually so cautious with this but I was expecting an email exactly as the kind that phished me.

I've immediately changed my eBay and PayPal passwords but I'm trying to think of anything else that is linked that to these accounts I should be wary of and I'm coming up blank. Any further protection than changing the passwords?

The phish that got me was to a site called ebaydesc. Perfectly dressed as an eBay login screen etc. I feel like such an idiot getting caught out!

Have a think about other online services where you use the same username/password combo, and change those as well. They now have and email/password pair, and most people tend to use those for everything else...

Yes and I'm drawing a blank on anything else I use this for. I'm trying to think of other services linked to eBay and PayPal specifically as that's what the email is used for.

It's only a 6 month old email address so I've not got tons to go through and will be able to address is straight away. Glad I noticed it immediately and hopefully stop anyone else being a moron like me.

May be stating the obvious, but go through your email inbox for any references to stuff ordered, receipts etc, as if they are in your mailbox for that Email address, you've obviously used that email for them.

As I said, probably stating the obvious, and you've already done this, but just in case....
