Hi guys,
I am looking for a wheel for my B7 RS4, the dealer wants a million pounds but I’ve found some online but the offset is 57. The current standards are 29 so my question.....will this fit?
The idea is for it to be a spare wheel to use while another gets repaired if needed so it wouldn’t be on the car permanently but obviously I don’t want it to mess the diffs up etc.
Any advice gratefully received

For not messing with the diff it's the size and rolling circumference that is of main importance. Google willtheyfit for a nice online calculator, though if the wheel is of a different size I think you'll struggle to find a tire that will provide the same circumference.
An RS4 I'd assume has a rather large brake caliper, especially at the front. The offset of 57 is 28mm different to your 29, which mean the wheel will sit 28mm further recessed into your arch. To be fair, I struggle to imagine the spoke of that wheel will clear the caliper which would be the main concern. This assuming the width is the same.
My quattro A5 has a tiny space saver. This whole "saving the diff" issue I hear about..: Yes I understand the concerns, but even with equal size tires, it's 1 large turn and the outer wheels have rolled a different length than the inners, what difference will a small space saver do? I can't imagine that for emergency flat tire use a slightly different rolling circumference will have a catastrophic effect on the diff.
