C6 Spotted

Spotted a black C6 on the A1(M) today just south of Stevenage, London bound.

There were two at the AACI show at Billing this week. A Burnt Orange ( Sort of copper colour ) and a red one. The red one was nice but not as good as the other one IMHO. The guy with the red one paid £43ish from American Car Imports, I believe!

spotted a yellow one on the M62 a week or two back, apparently one of the first in the UK. From the GM dealer (Bauer Millet?) in Manchester!

Saw a Silver one at the Corvette, Camaro, Firebird show at Antwerp at the weekend, Belgium registered one.

Vette's gonna be a shock after the pipe and slippers. Cadillac XLR might be a better bet after a Jag - you should find one in the same Park Lane showroom.

Pipe and slippers ! What can I say ?

Well, there's a Tuscan in the garage and Racing Green's 450 BHP XKR is outside the front door (final checks this weekend before the car goes to a new owner next week).

But I like Corvettes too. Like the look, like the sound, like the fact that it laps the Nurburgring Nordschleife in the same time as a 911 (according to Autocar), like the fact that the roof comes off and stays with the car (a la Tuscan), and most of all I like the 400 BHP (bomb proof ??) V8. Just wonder whether we should stick out for a C6 Z06 with 500 BHP ??

Hence the question about where to get a test drive in a standard C6. Thanks for the advice TopStuff !

Could always go for a C6 and add on some goodies, maybe a blower.
