Peak district roads (around Sheffield)
Discussion
Snake Pass (and others) may be closed due to snow/ice, in any case it's a magnet for camera vans and dawdlers. I'd put off your weekend for a while rather than face potential disappointment but if you can't, have a look here:

As mentioned, Snake Pass is a great road but you need to be willing to get up early to enjoy it. Far too many dawdlers and cyclists on it after around 9am, and limited overtaking opportunities. Don't assume it'll be open even if there's no snow anywhere else either - the summit is very exposed and the snow hangs around longer than anywhere else in the peaks.
A6024 Holme Moss is another great road but again is just as affected, if not more, by the snow. Great photo op at the summit though, you can see for miles.
I tend to stay off the beaten track when hooning around the Peaks - there are just too many things that get in your way on all the popular roads, not to mention every main road being 50mph
I get up at the crack of dawn and I'm back home before Mavis and Donald head out for a Sunday drive in their mobile chicane

Was up there last Friday in a blizzard dodging snowdrifts, lightning and abandoned vehicles, it was complete carnage (SWIDT?).OP - Weather forecast is snow and ice, unless you've got winters and a 4x4 to pull you out of a ditch I'd possibly think about meeting somewhere else this weekend.
Agree with previous replies regarding postponing till a better (warmer) weekend. Not only the snow on higher ground but also many of the lower roads are very icy due to water streaming off the fields, most often difficult to spot under the shade of trees until its too late. Lot of roads also greasy / muddy due to farmers etc.
