Help -Deduction from final wage ( Getting what’s mine)

Hello Ladies and Gents of PH

Company I worked for deducted money from my wages for company property I had. A week after leaving I went in to try return the items and I was told no one was available to receive these from me as the girl who deals with such businesses was off for a week. I informed them that I would be away for 2wks my self so I could only return them end of month when back. Got my final wage 27th January and went in to return items 30th , 2 weeks after I first tried.
Girl in office said she will inform payroll I had bought the property back so question is how long do I wait for a refund, do I give them 5 working days as I planned to when I left or should I demand for it asap?

At worst, I would presume next month, when the next payroll is run.

However if you have already left and are no longer on the payroll, it shouldn't be all that difficult to write out a cheque or do a bank transfer for the amount owing. Perhaps 7-14 days would not be unreasonable.

Id have stood and waited at her desk or asked her. Depends how much it is.
