Hmm. The injectors just arrived. Slight cockup on my part, I assumed from the picture thay had 'barbed' hose inlets but they don't; they're moulded, have an O-ring and are meant to clip into a fuel rail.

However... I reckon if I mill the (steel-lined) plastic down I can get a rubber hose on with a Jubilee clip...

I've also scored another spare airflow meter... for 99p

Next project is an airflow meter tester/ calibration rig...

Right, have managed to work out a mod for the injectors so that I can crimp fuel hoses on.
The coil current is the same as the existing injectors, so the ECU won't be any the wiser
Now I'm after a spare plenum chamber so I can modify the throttle body to 84mm instead of 76 or whatever kiddy's dimension it is...
There was a modded one on Ebay a couple of weeeks back but it sold for horrendous money.

Anyone know where the throttle plate comes from for this mod? Is it late Rangey?

Do you mean the round adaptor type thingy that the intake hose fits on? if so mine is stamped NCK.
My mate owns a "precision" engineering company and owes me a favour for putting a load of work his way

Dicky: no, the actually 'butterfly' plate.
I can probably turn up the hose adapter that you mean, but I'll have to concede to my mate with a 'proper' milling machine to get the boring done!

Just managed to 'Ebay' a spare inlet manifold and plenum, complete with trumpets, throttle pot, thermotime switch, coolant temp. sensor, aux. air valve, a selection of hoses and a full set of injectors

I feel the need.... the need for fiddling...
