Help finding a Poem.

I'm wondering if any of you guys can help me find a poem.
It was read at my father in laws funeral last year and I'd like to get it printed for my missus as it made her laugh and reminds her of her dad.
It was by a famous poet and was about eating something that made you ill and gave you the s
ts or an upset stomach or similar. I think It also ended with the subject of the poem dying.
Although funny it was very fitting and seemed to relate to his cause of death (smoking).
I know a few people will wonder why my missus will want reminding off this but she loved the poem and her father would've too.
If anyone thinks they might know what it is then it would be greatly appreciated.
