Hi all

I'm after a bit of advice please. I'm taking the plunge and treating my S1 111S to a few upgrades, but I'm not sure if I need to tell my insurance company about them all. The things I'm having done are

Eliseparts sports exhaust
Hurricane
Cat Bypass Pipe
Throttle body

Which, if any, of the above need to be notified and what are the likely increase in premiums going to be.

Id tell them about everythingother than the cat bypass pipe..and yes, your insurance may go up by 20% or more - depends on how mod friendly the insurer is............

You mean your stainless exhaust system and long life airfilter which offer no performance increase?

Tell them everything to be on the safe side - why not tell them about the decat? If they refuse a claim just because of a CRP you'll be upset. Find an insurer that is happy about these things - some just don't like any modifications.
